Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israel on Saturday, accusing it of conducting attacks “like a terrorist group” in the wake of the mass explosions in Lebanon. He stated that Israel’s actions show a complete disregard for civilian sensitivities, asserting that it will use any means necessary to pursue its “hateful ambitions.” Erdogan made these comments during a press conference, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
Erdogan warned that the Middle East is facing an “inexplicably huge crisis” and urged Israel’s allies and the international community to intervene against what he termed its “heinous actions.” He plans to address these issues at the upcoming United Nations General Assembly, including the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
“Pressure on Israel must be increased further to prevent our region from being dragged into a massive catastrophe,” he asserted.
