Nigerian man is asking for assistance after accumulating a large debt of N400M due to a car accident that happened during an illegal drag race in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.
The accident took place on Saturday and caused several injuries and major damage.
Although no fatalities were recorded, the Corvette Stingray 2022 and Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 involved in the accident were severely damaged.
Recounting the traumatic experience on Instagram, Trammania, who was driving the car that lost control, described it as a terrifying moment, with the aftermath still overwhelming him.
Eyewitnesses said that two high-speed cars were racing when one lost control, struck the other, and crashed into a concrete pole.
Luckily, there were no deaths, but the driver, who goes by @Trammania on Instagram, got injured and is now facing a big financial burden.
He shared his difficult experience on social media and showed appreciation for surviving.
He talked about his hospital expenses, property damage, and losing two vehiclesβa 2022 Corvette Stingray and a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver is asking for support to help with the costs of repairs and medical treatment.
He wrote, βYesterday evening, 14th of September 2024, I watched my life flash right in front of my eyes. It all happened so fast. Still traumatized. Taught it was all over. Still canβt even believe Iβm alive. God really loves me & yesterday confirms all doubtsβ¦Iβm grateful to still be here. Iβll never forget.

The incident has continued to generate reactions from social media users, with many criticising him for his recklessness.

While others blamed him for crashing the expensive car, a user, #Chuc__kki schooled him on how to engage in car race competition.

According to Motortrend, the 2022 Corvette is priced between $60,900 (N100.3 million) and $79,850 (N131.5 million).
