Actress Toyin Abraham addresses the public after her recent plea for help generated widespread reactions, sharing her perspective and the reasons behind her request.
Toyin Abraham, a well-known actress in Nollywood, has finally broken her silence after making a distress call.
Prior to this, the actress had appealed for divine intervention on social media which elicited mixed responses from her followers and acquaintances.
Numerous individuals voiced concern for her welfare, with a few speculating that the recent increase in petrol pump prices had affected her, criticizing her for being a staunch advocate of President Bola Tinubu’s government.
Abraham addressed the concerns stirred by her distress call in a viral Instagram video, clarifying that it was intended as a plea for resilience rather than an indication of distress.
The actress conveyed her thanks to those who extended their support, clarifying that the previous post was a result of feeling bogged down by an enormous gathering at her place. The occasion demanded extensive arrangement for food and drinks.
“Hey everyone, I’m perfectly fine. The sheer volume of people is just a bit overwhelming for me at the moment as we are preparing food for this large crowd. As you can see in the video, there are many individuals here and it’s making me feel uneasy. But don’t worry, I am okay.”
She captioned the video by saying, “Hey Fam! Just wanted to let you know that I’m okay. However, I must admit that I am feeling overwhelmed and in need of strength from God. Your love and calls mean so much to me; thank you all for your support! And don’t worry about my mum – she’s doing well too Love y’all!”
