On Monday, Governor Biodun Oyebanji commissioned three pivotal road projects in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
The newly commissioned roads are:
✅ Hospitals Management Board – Doctors Quarters Road
✅ Obisesan/Oke Ala Road
✅ Jimoh Aliu – Adewunmi Road
The rehabilitation of these roads into a modern, wide, and well-lit highway with solar-powered streetlights aims to improve the city’s overall functionality, boost economic activities in surrounding areas, reduce transportation and vehicle maintenance costs for residents, save travel time for all users, enhance interconnectivity, and facilitate safe access to essential services like schools, businesses, and healthcare for residents.
The HMB- Doctors Quarters Road is particularly designed to ensure faster access to healthcare services and facilities for the people while concurrently aiding the emergency response and safe transportation of healthcare practitioners who tend to commute at odd hours and on short notice.
We understand that a well-developed infrastructure is the backbone of any economy. That is why we have invested heavily in road construction, education, healthcare and other critical sectors as part of our strategy to address immediate needs and also lay the foundation for long-term progress, ensuring that Ekiti State remains a vibrant and competitive region.
