WAVERLY, NEW YORK – Mark J. Reekstin, a 40-year-old resident of Waverly, New York, has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses following a domestic violence incident.
Reekstin faces felony charges of strangulation and criminal mischief, along with misdemeanor counts of assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child.
His arrest came after an investigation into a reported assault and domestic disturbance on July 27.
The investigation also uncovered an additional, unreported domestic assault. Reekstin has been arraigned in Tioga County CAP Court and remains in custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
