In Mount Juliet, Tennessee, a rare and adorable kitten named Audio, born with four ears, is capturing hearts.
Estimated to be about 9 weeks old and weighing over 2 pounds, Audio’s extra ears are the result of a harmless genetic mutation.
Rescued along with his three siblings from a box left in a Nashville car lot, Audio was taken in by True Rescue animal shelter.
The shelter notes that despite the kitten’s unusual features, his hearing is normal and he’s adapting well.
The most recent similar case was in Turkey two years ago. The shelter plans to announce Audio’s adoption status soon.
