Chinese mixed doubles champion Huang Yaqiong got the perfect celebration of her mixed doubles gold when her boyfriend Liu Yuchen proposed to her.
As she was still basking in the glory of their victory, her boyfriend, Liu Yuchen, surprised her with a heartfelt proposal.
Liu, who is also a badminton player, presented Huang with flowers and proposed on one knee.
He declared, “I’ll love you forever! Will you marry me?” Huang joyfully responded, “Yes! I do!” Liu then placed the engagement ring on Huang’s finger, and the couple embraced in celebration.
