Your Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Executive Governor of Ondo State, ably represented by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Olayide Adelami Mni, our respected Royal fathers, esteemed leaders of our great party in Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency led by Chief Z. A Omoge, APC Chairman, Irele Local Government, stakeholders, members of our esteemed party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), distinguished guests, community leaders, residents of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, ladies and gentlemen.
I am grateful to the Almighty God for bringing today’s projects to fruition. I extend my appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass PhD, as well as to Hon. Abubakar Bichi, Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, and my colleagues for their contributions to the realization of today’s projects.
I am deeply honored to stand before you today on this momentous occasion as we commission two vital road projects: the 4km Igbinsin/Olotu/Ilutitun Road and the Sabomi/Obamoyegun/Ojomo Road. These projects mark a significant milestone in the development of our beloved constituency and stand as a testament to our collective commitment to progress and prosperity.
The importance of these roads cannot be overstated. For too long, our communities have faced challenges due to inadequate road infrastructure, which has impeded economic activities, hindered access to healthcare and education, and generally affected the quality of life of our people. With the commissioning of these roads, we are not merely opening up new routes; we are creating pathways to opportunities, growth, and a brighter future for our citizens.
The 4km Igbinsin/Olotu/Ilutitun Road and the Sabomi/Obamoyegun/Ojomo Road will undoubtedly transform our local economy. Farmers will now have better access to markets, thereby enhancing their livelihoods and boosting agricultural productivity. Businesses will thrive as the transportation of goods and services becomes more efficient, and our children will have safer, more reliable routes to their schools.
As your representative in the House of Representatives, I am acutely aware of the challenges faced by our constituents, especially concerning infrastructural deficits. The commissioning of these roads today reaffirms my dedication to advocating for policies and initiatives that prioritize the welfare and development of our constituency. Together with my colleagues in the legislature, we will continue to push for equitable distribution of resources and sustainable infrastructural projects that address the needs of our people.
Looking ahead, let us seize this moment as a catalyst for future endeavors. Let us build upon the foundation laid today and strive for even greater achievements in the realms of education, healthcare, agriculture, and beyond. The commissioning of the 4km Igbinsin/Olotu/Ilutitun Road and the Sabomi/Obamoyegun/Ojomo Road is a testament to what we can accomplish when we unite our efforts towards common goals.
