As a mark to celebrate the governor on His success at the primary election,Dr Abiola Oshodi,the Convener of Irewolede Group, and the vice chairman APC Canada chapter has presented an award to H.E Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Represented by one his aides, Mr Obanoyen Abiola (Adidas),the Vice Chairman of APC Canada,said the award represented the rich cultural heritage of Ogho Kingdom.
The Frame as a symbol of the award is an assemblage of cultural sculptures titled; IDA OMALORE (A Well born Man of fortunes) and also a representation and symbol of į»wį» cultural endowment
Agada and Ape are the Royal swords of Authority meant for the rulers. It is a mark of victory at the war fronts. Hence,it symbolizes the victory of the governor at the forthcoming general election slated for November 2024.
Udamalore (the sword of fortunes and authority) is used by men of honor and valour and to protect the people and the kingdom from external forces.
Agada and Ape (Staff of Honor and Prestige) are the major iconography of Olowos supremacy as the Supreme lord of the kingdom. Therefore,as a leader of the party in the state,the governor’s supremacy and lordship subsists.
Agada is a symbol of acceptance and utmost respect for few personalities who have attained Leadership role in families, and Communities.
Therefore,the award is specifically crafted to define in cultural terms the main character of the personality of the governor.
For example,the governor has transversed through an unknown and
unpredicted trajectory even when the situation was obscured and tough, he remained focused and determined with uncommon belief, raw courage and rare determination.
The battle was fierce and tough but with a determined soul in His Excellency, he was able to overcome whatever political bumps and land mines were erected in his path to get to his desired victory . And today,the coast seems clearer.
As an owo man,Dr Abiola Oshodi believes that Owo people are never traitors especially with someone who is displaying diligence and purpose. And the governor has displayed such virtues of a man who can be supported and loved.
The unity of Owo has never been this reinvigorated. And this is attributable to the respect the governor has for Owo kingdom during the brief sojourn he has been at the helms of affairs of the state.And in that regard,come November 16 Ondo state gubernatorial election,the massive support of Owo for the candidacy of the governor is never in doubt and we will deliver overwhelmingly.
Owo must move forward!
