Ahead 2024 convention of National Association of Nigerian Students, Ondo JCC Axis, Comrade Joshua Tobiloba Oluwarotimi has decided to join the race for the JCC chairmanship position.
Peoplesmind recalled that the Senators of the nine institutions met in their last sitting and proposed March 14, 2024 as date for the Pre Convention, in a report seen by Peoplesmind, the Senators are yet to fix venue for the Pre convention.
Comr. Oluwarotimi Tobiloba Joshua disclosed his intention to run for the office of the chairmanship position in the earlier hours of today. Part of his declaration message reads;

My ever gallant stakeholders, senior comrades, Senators, distinguished comrades and colleagues, I am Comr. OLUWAROTIMI TOBILOBA JOSHUA, the one you all call JOSH. I bring fundamental greetings to you all in the name of Aluta. As it is traditionally pertinent, I write to express my interest to contest for the exalted office of the CHAIRMAN of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council(JCC) ONDO AXIS.
This aspiration is bourne out of a long standing desire to exhibit my leadership traits. I have been actively involved in students’ unionism ever since my entrance into the four walls of our beloved and revered Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo(RUGIPO). It is of a fact that I have sought to create effective changes and development of ideological based activism from the fresher’s level to the zenith. As a Former Financial Secretary of NANS JCC Ondo Axis, I have gaines invaluable experience that i believe will be brought to bare when the need arise to defend the interest of Nigerian Students.
Dear comrades, I write you cause I believe we share the same dream of a united and strong student union that is unbrakeable even in the face of utmost oppression. I seek your support to help me achieve this dream of building a NANS Ondo that will be the cynosure of eyes, as it traditional has been!
We come with the mindset of injecting new ideas and practicable solutions to the common problems we face. Let it be known that we will engage collegiate leadership style in achieving our set goals and missions. No part of NANS will feel neglected as we will carry everybody along, with able guidance from our experienced stakeholders and the students, who hates the brunt of our actions.
Conclusively, I am excited at the possibility of serving the students level in Ondo State, with my experience and my leadership skills, I will deliver and discharge my duties with confidence, transparency and loyalty to ascertain the growth of NANS JCC ONDO. Under our watch, Ondo NANS will stand against any form of intimidation. Thanks and God bless you all.
