The President was on Wednesday, Feb 28 in Ondo State to commiserate with the Ondo State government, the Owo monarch, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye and the widow of Arakunrin Akeredolu, Chief Mrs Betty Ayanwu Akeredolu.
Hon Prophetess Atinuke Witherspoon who currently represents Owo Constituency 2, the Constituency of the late Governor Akeredolu thanked the President for coming to condole with the People of Ondo State, Owo Kingdom and the late Akeredolu family.
Hon Witherspoon thanked the President for squeezing his schedules to visit Ondo State. She expressed that the President is a man of honor who understands the roles that was played by late Akeredolu in the last Presidential elections. She added that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is a grateful soul.
The Lawmaker further expressed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has displayed an excellent character that should be shown by a Leader. She said the late Aketi lived a worthy life with numerous legacies that will remain noticeable. She thank the President for standing by the people and for condoling with Ondo State and the Akeredolu family over the irreplaceable loss of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON
