In a heartwarming gesture of empowerment with funfair, dancing and what looks like a carnival in the nerve center of Okeigbo where the Constituency office of Hon Festus Adefiranye was situated, Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye has taken a significant step towards uplifting the community of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Federal Constituency. On the 24th of February marked a momentous occasion as he personally presented employment letters to 34 deserving individuals from the constituency.
These 34 indigents are the fortunate recipients of employment opportunities facilitated by Hon. Festus Adefiranye in collaboration with the National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons. This initiative not only underscores Hon. Adefiranye’s commitment to fostering meaningful change but also exemplifies his dedication to creating tangible opportunities for the constituents he represents.
As the employment letters were handed out, a sense of hope and optimism permeated the air, embodying the transformative power of dedicated public service. Hon. Festus Adefiranye’s hands-on approach in securing these opportunities showcases his proactive leadership and genuine concern for the well-being of those he serves.
Hon Festus in his remark admonished the elated beneficiaries to be worthy ambassadors of themselves, their families and the federal Constituency where they come from.
He said “this is just a tip of the iceberg in what’s to come to the federal Constituency as there are many programmes already outlined to be embarked upon before the year runs out, ranging from more opportunities in employments and Empowerment as well as infrastructural development all across the federal Constituency”. He also assured that he won’t look back untill all the promises he made during the electioneering campaign comes to fruition.
Taking turns to appreciate Hon Festus Adefiranye were three representatives from the 3 zones of Odigbo, Ileoluji and Okeigbo respectively are Hon Abiodun Oriade the Ondo south senatorial youth leader representing Okeigbo, Mr Isiaka Wasiu representing Odigbo and one other beneficiary representing Ileoluji. In their different remarks they appreciated The people’s MHR for his passion for Human capital Development and his unending love towards his Constituents. They prayed for God’s protection over his life and his family.
This noteworthy endeavor not only strengthens the bond between the representative and the community but also serves as a beacon of progress for Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Federal Constituency. The positive impact of these newfound employment opportunities will undoubtedly resonate, fostering a ripple effect of prosperity and empowerment within the constituency.
