Officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps on Monday dislodged more miscreants occupying pedestrian bridges in the state.
The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, gave the update on his X handle on Monday, February 19.
Stating that the officials dislodged miscreants squatting inside pedestrian bridges in the Oshodi area of the state to make the bridge safe for pedestrians, he wrote: “In order to make the pedestrian bridges across Lagos safe for pedestrians, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI), this morning, resumes clearing of miscreants squatting inside Oshodi pedestrian bridges.”
This comes after the LAGESC officials commenced the enforcement following complaints from the public concerning the activities of the miscreants and beggars which discourage pedestrians from using the bridge.
