Akoko, Nigeria – February 11, 2024 – The Akoko Youth Leaders Local Government Association in different statements expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiatives (DHDEI) as it hold the screening for interested applicants of her empowerment program poised to impact four communities within the Akoko region of Ondo State.
The DHDEI, known for its unwavering commitment to community development and youth empowerment, has announced plans to implement a series of initiatives aimed at uplifting the socio-economic landscape of the Akoko communities. These initiatives are set to benefit the youth and residents of Akoko, fostering sustainable growth and development.
The empowerment program proper, slated to commence on Saturday 17th February 2024, will focus on four key communities within the Akoko region, namely:
Ikare-Akoko
Akungba-Akoko
Supare-Akoko
Oka-Akoko
Through a collaborative effort between the DHDEI and local stakeholders, the program aims to provide training, skill acquisition, and capacity-building opportunities to the youth, empowering them to become self-reliant and active contributors to their communities’ development.
In light of this initiative, Mr. Ojo Joseph, President Akoko South West Youth Forum while supervising the screening at Supare-Akoko lauds the efforts of the organization.
Comrade Kazeem, President Akoko North East Youth Forums while supervising the screening in Ikare-Akoko expresses gratitude to the organization and charge the Intending beneficiaries to utilize the golden opportunity.
In Akungba, Mr. Ajagun Samson and Mrs Tosin extends its deepest appreciation to the DHDEI for its dedication to fostering sustainable development and creating avenues for youth empowerment within the Akoko region. The association recognizes the significance of such programs in uplifting communities and acknowledges the DHDEI’s pivotal role in driving positive change.
The Akoko Youth Leaders calls upon all stakeholders, including government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and community leaders, to support and actively participate in the implementation of these empowerment programs. By working together, we can create a brighter and more prosperous future for the youth of Akoko.
