The leadership at the national level of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned the former governor of Kogi State to refrain from creating turmoil within the party, emphasizing that the position of the National Chairman is presently filled.
Addressing a press conference today at the national secretariat of the party, Felix Morka, the national publicity secretary, gave the warning.
Barely 48-hour after his handing over to Governor Usman Ododo, posters of Yahaya Bello, had on Monday flooded strategic places, streets, including the national secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The posters were signaling Bello’s interest to become the National Chairman of the ruling party, the position currently held by the former governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, from the North-west.
