If you want to design a house, use an architect. If you want to build a house, use an engineer. If you want to build a nation, develop youths. It is relevant to point out the roles youth play in any developed or developing country.
The participation of youths in any community or society is important and can’t be ruled out. They are being employed across all tiers of workforce as instruments to develop companies, corporate or non corporate organisations, governmental and non governmental agencies etc. Without the synergy of youths, lots of organisations would have been on a brinks of collapse, perhaps would have folded up. The idea of harnessing youth power is essential and beneficial to nations for effective nation building, developing new ideas, and creating equitable society.
Youths are the giant stride factor thriving the socioeconomic status of any country. However, setting records straight, the roles of youths in building a nation is to intensify revolutionary perspectives and energy to drive economic development and social progress.
Having opined this, Hon. Festus Adefiranye Member House of Representatives representing Ile-oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency deemed it fit employing reasonable number of youths ranging from his SLA to SAs to oversee the affairs of his political engagement as a measure to evaluate his performances. This is laudable and commendable strategy that should be adopted by any equitable leader for well grounded performance. Moreover, this is a means of employment getting youths engaged to be able to abstain from cybercrime, civil apathy, violence, and social escape such as use of drugs and rebellious behaviour.
I once again seize this medium to say thank you to Hon. (Engr) Festus Adefiranye for having the heart full confidence in youths and human capital development. A big hearty congratulations to all the appointees. However, the appointees should see this as a call to serve and to portray good image of the employer as to give room for more youths employment opportunities.
