The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), announced that 122 students would graduate with First Class during the institution’s 31st convocation.
In total, 1,540 students received Second Class Honours (Upper Division), 1,705 with Second Class (Lower Division), and 187 with Third Class.
Additionally, 138 students obtained Master’s degrees, and 48 received Doctoral degrees. The convocation, scheduled for Saturday, will see a total of 3,574 students graduating.
The vice-chancellor highlighted the university’s commitment to teaching, research, and community engagement, emphasizing collaborations and the institution’s contributions to food security.
FUNAAB is in the process of launching new academic programs, including Data Science, System Engineering, Cyber Security, and Information Technology.
The convocation will also honor Prof. Attahiru Jega and Fola Adeola.
