2. To realize the value of only one year, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of one week, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of one hour, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of one minute, ask the person who missed the train. To realize the value of one second, ask the person who survived an accident.
3. Which of us lives on twenty-four hours a day? And when I say ‘lives,’ I do not mean exists, nor ‘muddles through.’ Which of us is free from that uneasy feeling that the ‘great spending departments’ of his daily life are not managed as they ought to be?
4. You can turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose.
