This is a traditional Shrine close to Zuru in Zuru Local Government Area. This place is a place of water surrounded by thick trees, and there in the water, there are crocodiles, this is a place of worship,the local inhabitants visit this place with sacrifice and make special requests to the shrine.
It is a traditional shrine in Zuru Local Government Area in Kebbi State where thousands of harmless crocodiles reside in a piece of water surrounded by thick trees.
The custodians of the Girmache Shrine are always in animal skin rugs – the only clothing approved by the gods. The Shrine is believed to be Very powerful as the worshipers always say that once you fulfill your promises,special requests and pledges . It’s believed that the Crocodiles living in this shrine do not harm anyone who comes to make sacrifices or special requests from the shrine
The Girmache Shrine is a sacred and respected spot to the locals of the community which has turned out to be a huge tourist spot as people visit the shrine to see the sacred harmless crocodiles living in the Shrine.
