The Head of State launches construction work. The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE proceeded, the laying of the first stone marking the launch of the construction work of the Gaoua Regional University Hospital Center. The construction of the Gaoua regional University Hospital Center aims to address the urgent need for access for the region’s populations to health services and quality care. “The needs for health provision are very pressing, It is this need for quality care that led us to initiate this project here in the South-West,” indicated the President of the Transition.
He specified that despite the context of war, it is also necessary to act on the development site. According to the Head of State, it is a turnkey hospital which will be offered with all hospital services within it. Captain Ibrahim TRAORE expressed the government’s desire “to increase this type of projects in the different regions to raise the level of the technical platform” of health facilities.
