Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly wants to make a big money signing in the January window.
The American is hoping to secure Victor Osimhen from Napoli when the transfer window reopens.
Per football.london, Boehly is ready to move “heaven and earth” to get Osimhen to Stamford Bridge.
That means bidding in excess of Napoli’s £140 million price tag, given they would be doing a deal mid-season.
The Naples club are not under any financial pressure to sell, but would not keep a player against his will either.
Osimhen has yet to indicate a clear desire to leave Napoli, but has been experiencing a few problems with the club this season.
