In a heartwarming gesture of solidarity, the National Association of Edo State Students, University of Calabar executives, led by President Comr Olajide Alex, visited Mr. Daniel Ehis Aiguohkian, an indigene of Edo State and a valued member of the association, yesterday at exactly 10:30 am.
The delegation, comprised of key executives including the Director of Welfare, Comr Agbonlahor Happiness Esogie, the Director of Socials, Comr Joy Itohan Ojiekhile, and the Financial Secretary, came together to pay a courtesy visit to Mr. Daniel Ehis Aiguohkian, who is currently facing the Guiness World Record on Longest writing time for 188 hours equivalent to 8 days.

Olajide Alex expressed words of encouragement, urging Mr. Daniel Ehis Aiguohkian to stay strong in the face of adversity. The executives collectively conveyed their support and solidarity, emphasizing the importance of community and kinship.
In a practical demonstration of their commitment, the executives presented Mr. Daniel Ehis Aiguohkian with monetary support to assist him in his time of need. Furthermore, they pledged to actively engage with the state’s national body and alumni to garner additional support for their fellow student.
Before departing, the executives assured Mr. Daniel Ehis Aiguohkian that they would make regular check-ins to monitor his progress and well-being. This commitment reflects the association’s dedication to fostering a supportive and caring community for its members.
