Today, we witness another awesome moment in Islam: The Birth of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). I wish to extend my heartfelt felicitation to all our Muslim Brethren.
This is another moment for us to reflect on the tenets of Islam. We must understand that Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was an advocate of peace during His lifetime.
I hereby admonish all the Muslim Faithfuls to seize this Celebration to embrace peace and spread love. It is very important to be one’s Brother’s keep and unite in oneness. This is the hallmark of Islam.
I wish to resonate the necessities to extend affection to our neighbors irrespective of their political affiliation, religious beliefs, gender and social status. It is in conformity with the principles of Islam to love one another wholeheartedly.
As we celebrate this auspicious Day, we must remember our responsibilities to our community, local government, state and country. I charge you to remain law abiding citizens, keeping clean noses and respecting constituted Authorities.
As our Muslim Brethren rejoice in the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet, may the joy that abounds in this celebration be upon you. Allah, in His infinite mercy shall be gracious unto you.
