The Police Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that almost everyone young in Sagamu, Ogun State, is a cult!st. He made this known on X.
Adejobi, who is a native of Sagamu, said that Okada riders, artisans, and even students are involved in cultism. He called on the community to rise up to the challenge and take action to address the problem.
“I think the community should rise up to it,” he said. “They should have an urgent meeting with the heads of all the quarters in Sagamu with the police and vigilante gp to address this matter. Sagamites know and understand what I am saying here. I worked in sagamu for almost 2 years.”
Adejobi also called on the Ogun State Commissioner of Police to take action on the issue.
“I think the CP Ogun should look inward and take action on this point you have just raised,” he said. “I will engage the CP on this. Whoever dealing with cultists and criminals must not compromise. That person must stand firm, and operate against all.odds.”
The Police PRO’s statement has sparked a debate in Sagamu, with some people agreeing with him and others disagreeing.
