Dear Young Citizens/Patriots;
One of the most important thing to celebrate on the occasion of the International Youth day is the fact that Young Nigerians in this time and season have no pasquinade loyalty to Brands, Personalities, Political Parties or Religion.
If it’s not about Accountability, Performance and Delivery, Count them out. Like Ilemobayo Odunjo, one of Nigeria’s Youngest Graphics Designer and Content Creator rightly posit;
“The Fact that my largest customer base are Political elites wouldn’t stop me from clamoring for good governance and speaking truth to Power when Politics is the subject of discussion.”
This are the set of Youths I want to share their stories with my Children and Grandchildren.
We can’ all agree a greater and better Nigeria is in the Pipeline. As we wish ourselves happy International Youth Day, Let’s endeavor to Challenge the Status quo.
If anyone must decide our fate, it should be us, it should be the Youths.
Let it be said, that at a time when it mattered most, a good Number of Nigerian Youth defended their Honour, stood for themselves and changed the Political Narrative in Nigeria.
