Thank you to the entire Nigerian students for electing me to serve you as your National VICE PRESIDENT, EXTERNAL AFFAIRS during this challenging time.
I am deeply humbled by your support, prayers, words of wisdom and I want to assure you that I am going to work tediously, day and night, to make sure that your concerns are heard and your rights aren’t trampled upon.Whether or not you voted or supported me in this election, I want you to know that I am dedicated to serving you. When we work together, not as a caucus, oppositions, or Independents, but as members of one community, I know that we can and we would accomplish great things. During these uncertain times, my highest commitment is to be your bipartisan voice in the national executives in a bid to achieve our shared goals.
Our association is one that has been built by our compassion toward each other, our unity to defend our rights, our strong belief to uphold our decency, and our faith in our struggles. Now is the time for us to be united as an association so that we can genuinely rebuild our association, defend our educational and individual rights, secure good paying jobs for our outstanding graduates, reduce the cost of education by partnership with private and public institutions for incentives, and ensure that every student receives a great education.
From this point forward, your struggles are my struggles, your concerns are my concerns, your losses are my losses and your hopes are my hopes. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I am ready and excited to work with you for you. I want to be as accessible and responsive to you as possible, and I will be creating more avenues for our direct and private communications with all Nigerian students on all our campuses.Â
In all sincerity do I appreciate the PROGRESSIVE FAMILIES from southwest who were my backbone and the center pillar of my ambition. Your support and guidance did help bring the ambition to reality.
In the same vein do I appreciate my leaders from and zonal coordinator from Zone A, Zone B, Zone C, Zone E and Zone F who all displayed the true meaning of solidarity. You all took my struggles as yours, during oppression, your voices stood out, therefore, posterity would write your names with gold.
We have come a long way from lingering issues during the pre election period to this present moment, but for the progress and unity of our dear association, I urge all parties to sheath in their swords and embrace peace and reconcile with ourselves to steer our association to a better tomorrow.
It’s a brand new morning in all of NANS as we have a new leadership headed by Comr Umar BARAMBU, the newly elected UNIVERSAL PRESIDENT OF NANS; I appeal to all parties and caucuses to support this new administration to deliver and uphold the mandate of the Nigerian Students as we work on creating the best administration NANS has ever had.
To My Zone D family, the ideological family , I promise unity to the zone. The days of factionalizing and polarizing of the region are over. I promise this will be the last time we would have a divided house at the zonal structure to every JCC in the zone. I dream of a zone where all leaders, stakeholders, students union executives and the entire Nigerian students would sit together, wine and dine together and put interests together for the upliftment of the zone and the entire nation in general.
My most grateful appreciation goes to the  powerful SA Students and Youth Affairs, ONDO STATE, Adebiyi Muyiwa, I am grateful , the ever capable SA OGUN STATE, Comr. Adeyemi Azeez who is also a former NANS National PRO, S.A Students Oyo State, Hon. Victor Olojede and to the OSUN SSA Student Matters, Aremo Adelabu, for your support and your reliability all through the process from the inception of the ambition to it’s realization. I’m forever grateful my leaders.
Â
I also offer my gratitude to the SSA to President Buhari on Students and Youths, Mr Nasir Sa’idu Adhama, for the fatherly role he played during the entire electioneering process to the successful completion of the convention.
Â
To my own JCC chairman, Comr. Omotosho Suprise and Ondo state leaders who took me as a brother, one of you, I am very grateful and proud to be associated with you. You rallied in your numbers and stood with me both during the stormy and heated conditions. I promise to deliver good governance and make you all proud.
My total gratitude goes out to HON. BUNMI TUNJI OJO, who has demonstrated to be a brilliant and progressive honorable for your support and belief in my ambition even during the stormy times.Â
TO our leader, Ondo state DG, PPIMU, Mr BABAJIDE AKEREDOLU, I appreciate you for the backing and support the ambition enjoyed all through.Â
I appreciate my entire CAMPAIGN TEAM who sojourned with me during all periods, traveled across the country for campaigns and my MEDIA TEAM for their ever readiness and availability in creating easier communication with the entire nigerian student. Your support and reliability were my confidence all through the process.
To the greatest Nigerian Students, the mandate you bestowed on me showed your belief and trust in my person and I promise not to disappoint you. You all stood in the rain and sunshine in the streets of Abuja for 10days to protect our mandate, the mandate of YOU AND I. I promise not to derail from all the promises I made to you during my visits and communications to all of us.
I appreciate you all!
Viva Aluta!
