Senator Ajagunla, The Gbobaniyi of Ifon Orolu Kingdom, Donates 300kva Transformer

To Serve the Largest Communities of Disu, Oke Odo, Odoje and Asalu in Ifon

Distinguished Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community development by donating a 300kva transformer to the communities of Disu, Oke Odo, Odoje, and Asalu in Ifon-Orolu. The donation was made during the celebration of Ifon/Orolu Day 2024 a significant event in the kingdom’s calendar. 

The transformer, which will restore power to areas that have endured 17 years of darkness, was officially presented by Senator Fadeyi’s Chief of Staff, Otunba Tunde Badmus, on behalf of the Senator. 

In his remarks, Otunba Tunde Badmus conveyed Senator Fadeyi’s heartfelt appreciation for the steadfast support and cooperation of the Ifon-Orolu people. He highlighted that the transformer symbolises the Senator’s dedication to tackling infrastructural deficits and enhancing the quality of life for his constituents.

“Senator Fadeyi remains resolute in his vision to ensure that Osun Central enjoys the dividends of democracy. This transformer is a proof of his commitment to providing practical solutions to the challenges faced by the communities of Ifon-Orolu,” Otunba Badmus stated. 

The donation elicited immense gratitude from community leaders and residents, including His Royal Majesty, Oba Peter Oluwole Ipafeola Ilufemiloye (Akinrooye III), the Olufon of Ifon-Osun, Orolu Kingdom, who extolled Senator Fadeyi’s efforts. In their praise, the monarchs assured the Senator of their full support for his second-term ambition, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the development of Ifon-Orolu.

The chairman of the Orolu chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Azeez Basiru Abimbade, on behalf of the Orolu PDP, expressed gratitude to Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi for the generous donation of 300kva transformer, adding that Senator Fadeyi has made the people of Orolu local government proud with his impactful protects here and there.
