Cyclist’s determination pays off as he receives a car and N700,000 after his trip to Abuja on a bicycle.
Shamsuddeen Garba, known as Dan Small and a resident of Gombe State, has received a Honda (EOD) car and N700,000 in recognition of his remarkable 548-kilometre bicycle ride from Gombe to Abuja.
This reward was presented by Dattuwa Ali Kumo, the deputy national treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who acknowledged Shamsuddeen’s commitment and determination.
Shamsuddeen articulated that his journey was intended to demonstrate support for Dattuwa Kumo, highlighting the APC leader’s impactful leadership and charitable efforts in Gombe.
He also encouraged Dattuwa to contemplate a candidacy for the Gombe State gubernatorial position in 2027, emphasizing his considerable political capabilities.
The local government chairman of Gombe, Imrana Haruna, presented the car and cash to Shamsuddeen, praising his tenacity and adventurous spirit.
