Nigerian artist Crown Uzama, widely recognized as Shallipopi, has asserted that he does not smoke, despite featuring cigarettes in his photographs and videos. He explained that his use of cigarettes is purely for aesthetic purposes.
In a recent interview with Soundcity, Shallipopi revealed, “One thing that my fans don’t know about me is that I don’t smoke.
It’s just aesthetics.” When discussing his motivation for pursuing music, he stated, “What influences me to do music is hardship.
You don’t want to go through hardship in this country.”
