A group of four prominent Nigerian artists, D’banj, Olamide, Yemi Alade, and Timi Dakolo, is set to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 African Military Games in Abuja today.
The Nigerian Army announced on X, “The stage is set and the legends are coming for the opening ceremony of #AMGA2024.

This edition of the African Military Games features participation from 25 countries, with athletes competing in 19 sports at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, excluding obstacle crossing and shooting events.
The games are organized by the Organization of Military Sports in Africa (OSMA) and the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
Notably, D’banj previously performed at the closing ceremony of the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa, while Yemi Alade was the featured artist at the opening ceremony of the last AFCON held in Ivory Coast.
