Graeme Souness, a Liverpool icon, has cautioned Premier League teams against pursuing Paul Pogba, the France World Cup winner.
Currently a free agent following the termination of his contract with Juventus, Pogba has attracted interest from Arsenal and other clubs in the league.
During a discussion on the Three Up Front podcast, Souness acknowledged Pogba’s undeniable talent but described it as largely unfulfilled.
He stated that if he were managing a Premier League team, he would not consider signing Pogba under any circumstances, highlighting that the player has only participated in 39 matches since the 2021/22 season and suggesting that his World Cup victory led to a decline in his motivation and performance.
