The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced that it has achieved a crude oil production level of 1.8 million barrels per day.
This declaration was made on Thursday, with the company expressing its commitment to reach the target of two million barrels per day, as set by President Bola Tinubu, by December 2024.
Additionally, NNPCL reported an increase in gas production to 7.4 million standard cubic feet, which supports the gas infrastructure, particularly the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano project, up from 6.1 million standard cubic feet earlier this year.
The company emphasized that this achievement, which aligns with the government’s budgetary goals, is a testament to the hard work of its teams over recent weeks. Further details will be provided later.
