-Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi attributed the revenue success to strategic engagements and partnerships, which have enhanced the NCS’s performance across its core responsibilities.
-The NCS has advanced its Authorised Economic Operators programme with six selected beneficiaries and processed 21 requests under an advance ruling programme to expedite customs decisions on imports and exports.
-Through its time release study, the NCS has made strides toward achieving 24-hour cargo clearance and reducing port dwell time, aiming to improve efficiency in trade operations.
-Operation Whirlwind, in collaboration with the National Security Adviser’s Office and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Agency, has been successful in curbing fuel smuggling activities.
