Ademola Lookman scored his eighth goal of the season in Atalanta’s 2-0 victory over Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League, continuing his strong form.
Atalanta won 2-0 against Stuttgart at the Mercedes Benz Arena, with Lookman breaking the deadlock in the 51st minute and Nicolo Zaniolo sealing the win in the 88th minute. The victory extended Atalanta’s unbeaten run to nine matches, with seven wins and two draws in their last nine games.
Lookman expressed that the team expected a tough match against Stuttgart but treated it as “business as usual” and were pleased to get the result. With the win, Atalanta moved up to ninth place in the new Champions League format.
