-Aminat Ibrahim, wife of former Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ola Ibrahim, passed away on November 5, 2024, after a brief illness.
-Admiral Ibrahim served as Chief of Naval Staff from 2010-2012 and Chief of Defence Staff from 2012-2014.
-Aminat’s funeral prayers (Janazah) will be held on November 6, 2024, at 1:30 pm at the National Mosque in Abuja, followed by burial at Gudu Muslim Cemetery, Apo.
-The Alumni Association of the National Defence College (AANDEC) confirmed her death and extended condolences to Admiral Ibrahim and his family.
-The association requested members, veterans, and the community to offer support to Admiral Ibrahim during this period of grief and prayed for Aminat’s soul to rest in peace.
