Kenny ibeh defeats 8 other candidates in Obowo to become first House Member to attain Third Term in Imo State

  History once again has been made in Obowo and Imo State as the Rt Honourable Member representing Obowo State Constituency Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Ibeh who embarked on a “CONTINUITY” sojourn under the platform of the “All Progressive Congress” in his bid to redefine qualitative Legislative Representation, garnered the massive support of the people of Obowo to carpet over eight other candidates who contested same office.

The erstwhile Speaker of the Imo House of Assembly who has continued to enjoy the massive support of the wonderful people of Obowo, through a vast span of Legistlative Representation was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission on the 19th of March 2023, following a fiercely contested Assembly election which held on the 18th of March 2023.

 The results of the Imo Assembly Polls in Obowo as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission reflected that the APC Candidate garnered a total of 4,256 votes, while the Labour Party candidate and PDP candidate garnered 3764, and 2083 votes respectively.

The astute Lawmaker of the All Progressive Congress, who remarkably emerged Secretary, “Forum of APC Speakers” within a short time frame into his previous reign as the “Speaker of the House”, has proceeded to break the Third Term jinx in the Imo House of Assembly with a resonating support from the people of Obowo.

Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Ibeh who hails from Obowo Local Government Area, in the Okigwe South Federal Constituency, and Okigwe Senatorial District of Imo State (Imo North) continues to remain a harbinger of Hope and Beacon of Light to as many that have come accros his path.
