Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni (Chiroman Gujba) recently met with the newly appointed state comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Sule Sani Jega.
During the meeting, which was attended by his deputy, Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune), Buni congratulated Jega on his new role and emphasized the state government’s commitment to collaborating with security agencies. He noted that cooperation is essential in addressing the rising insecurity, particularly in border regions.
A statement from the Deputy Governor’s Press Secretary, Hussaini Mai Sule, highlighted the importance of inter-governmental cooperation in tackling insecurity and other challenges.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s support for the new comptroller in fulfilling his duties.
In his opening remarks, Comptroller Sule S. Jega praised the state for its ongoing support and called for increased collaboration to achieve better outcomes. He stressed that a strong partnership between the state government and security agencies is vital for ensuring peace and safety for all residents. Jega also committed to working with other security organizations to combat border insecurity and related crimes.
