Scorecard: Celebrating Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin worthy representation at the 8th and 9th Assembly

This is however a bittersweet moment for some of us who have had the privilege of working with him during his time in office. Throughout his tenure, Hon. Akinfolarin who represented the good people of Odigbo & Ileoluji/ Okeigbo Federal Constituency at the green chamber demonstrated a deep commitment to public service and a keen understanding of the needs of his constituents.

As a member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Mayowa Akinfolarin has been a tireless advocate for good governance, social justice and economic development in Nigeria. He has championed numerous legislative initiatives aimed at improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians, particularly his constituents. This is evident in the committee he chaired at the hallowed green chambers of the House: House committee on Federal Road safety Commission. The Nigerian Youth Service Corps too was not left out as both agencies have bills sponsored on their behalf by RT Honourable Mayowa Akinfolarin, of which some have been accented to and some have left the floor of the house only awaiting the Presidential accent.

As the former Chairman House committee on FRSC leaves office, I must acknowledge his many achievements and thank him for his service to his constituents. His legacies will endure, and his contributions to the development of Nigeria will not be forgotten.

3.Registration and Empowerment of 40 Cooperative societies with 50 members each.

4. Facilitation on NEMA Relief Material to over Hundreds Household affected by Floods.

Roofing Sheets, Matress, Cements, Buckets, Blankets, Clothes, Food Items etc were distributed.

*SECURITY*

In the face of herders-farmers crisis in the South West region, Hon. Akinfolarin organized a security stakeholders meeting to discuss and subsequently implements the security needs of the constituents.

He donated One Sienna Space Bus to Ore Area Command. Towards the end of his representation, he donated a sienna bus to the Police Divisional Headquarters Odigbo, in order to improve their operation.

As a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Akinfolarin has been an advocate for good governance and transparency. He sponsored more than 20 bills and his contributions towards the passage of bills and legislative reforms aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians have been highly impactful. His unwavering commitment to ensuring that Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy is an inspiration to us all.

Lastly as Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin’s tenure as a member of the House of Representatives comes to an end on 8th June 2023, I celebrate his numerous achievements in infrastructure development, youth empowerment, agricultural development, and legislative impact. His contributions to the development of his constituency and the nation as a whole have been remarkable, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. I also hope that he will be ready to continue to serve his country in whatever capacity and opportunities that beckons in the nearest future.
