As Muslim faithfuls celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, Mall Al-hassan Yakmut former Plateau central Senatorial aspirant has felicitated with Muslims Ummah.
Yakmut In his sallah Message on Wednesday morning in Abuja, the immediate past Plateau state Coordinator APC-PCC Contact and Mobilisation urged all to remember the less privileged in the spirit of the celebration by supporting them to mark the Eid-el- Kabir and have a spirit of belonging.
“The essence of Eid-El-Kabir is the demonstration of the fear of Allah by Prophet Ibrahim (SAW) and his son, Prophet Ismail (SAW). If all of us can imbibe the fear of Allah, then our society will be better,” he said.
He also urges Muslims to emulate Prophet Ibrahim
“Muslims must uphold the exemplary and outstanding qualities of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in their daily pursuits.
“The acts of love, togetherness, selflessness, piety, almsgiving and patriotism must be imbibed in all our endeavours.
“I most happily join Nigerians, particularly my Muslim faithfuls, in celebrating this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Sallah festival.
“I also rejoice with the renewed Hope leader our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he celebrates the first Eid-el-Kabir as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“I also congratulate my very good friend the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on the occasion of the celebrations of an important pillar of Islam.
He urged the Muslim ummah to extend the merriment of the celebration to people of other religious faiths.
