NANS Election: Oyo State Students Union backs Comr Tiamiyu Olayinka as JCC chairman

In a statement released by Sodiq Yusuf, the Union senate president, which reads;

Vote of Confidence on Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle

We, the members of the Federation of Oyo State Students’ Union (FOSSU) National Senate Arm, hereby pass a vote of confidence on Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle. Politics is often considered a game, but it should never be an avenue for tarnishing someone’s image. 

Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle is a man of high and impeccable pedigree, possessing good character and an excellent reputation. He is a capable and committed leader who sees leadership as a call to service.

Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle’s resourcefulness in student politics and administration is evident from his extensive experience in various offices. He has served in the Students Representatives Council of EACOED SUG, as well as the position of Students Union Barrister in EACOED. Additionally, he held the esteemed position of President of the Federation of Oyo State Students (FOSSU) EACOED Chapter. Furthermore, his relentless effort led to his election as the National President of the Surulere Local Government Students Association, and he also served as a Senator at the National Council of the Federation of Ogbomoso Students Union.

Given his extensive experience, Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle has been appointed to various important positions. He served as the Chief of Staff to the President of FOSSU (national body), and he was also appointed as the Task Force Chairman of the National Association of Universities Students (NAUS) Southwest. Additionally, he held the position of Director of Campus Mobilization and Contact in the National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS). Moreover, he demonstrated his commitment to free and fair elections by serving as the Acting Electoral Chairman for FOSSU, ensuring the present FOSSU administration was ushered in through credible means.

Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle’s exemplary leadership role has been acknowledged through numerous honorary awards and certificates. He has been recognized with a Certificate of Recognition for his immense contributions to FOSSU, and his department honored him with a Certificate of Achievement. In 2017, he was awarded the title of “Most Active Sugasa Member,” which further crowned his achievements with an Award of Excellence and Participation.

Furthermore, in his pursuit of sustaining studentship and financial stability, Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle has proven himself as a General Contractor specializing in printing press, digital marketing, and cryptocurrency exchange. This multifaceted skill set demonstrates his dedication to empowering students and ensuring their future success.

Comr. Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibraheem Principle remains a formidable force when compared to his peers.
