Abia State House of Assembly today passed a resolution urging the Federal Government to expedite action on the rehabilitation of the Ikot Ekpene-Umudike Road
The House also unanimously urged the State Government to Rehabilitate the Olokoro-Amaoba Road to decongest the persistent traffic along the Ikot Ekpene-Umudike Road pending its total reconstruction by the Federal Government.
This followed a motion sponsored by Hon. Boniface Isienyi, representing Ikwuano State constituency
Ishienyi in his prayers urged the House to resolve that the State Government be urged to Rehabilitate road which has many economic benefits and would serve as an alternative route to Ikot Ekpene-Umudike Road so as to alleviate the sufferings commuters who ply the Ikot Ekpene-Umudike Road experience on daily basis.
