The 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League will be hosted in Morocco, as confirmed by CAF, marking a significant moment for women’s football on the continent.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Morocco to host the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League finals.
According to OBASANJONEWS, the CAF official website states that the competition will take place from November 9 to November 23.
Remember that Morocco was the host of the previous edition of the competition as well.
Edo Queens, the Nigerian champions, are one of the eight teams set to compete in Africa’s premier women’s club football tournament.
The current champions of the competition are Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa.
The champions will receive $400,000 in prize money, while the second-place finishers will take home USD 250,000.
