A Houston attorney, Tony Buzbee, is representing 120 individuals who allege sexual misconduct by Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Buzbee stated that he anticipates his clients will file lawsuits within the next 30 days, revealing that the group comprises 60 men and 60 women, including 25 minors at the time of the alleged incidents. The youngest victim mentioned was just 9 years old. “I imagine there’s a myriad of people who are nervous,” Buzbee remarked. “You can’t hide skeletons in the closet forever.”
In response, Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff, issued a statement asserting that the rap mogul “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”
She added that Mr. Combs “emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.” Combs is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he has pleaded not guilty. A status conference for his case is scheduled for October 9.
