In a continued effort to fulfill her promises to the rural constituent in communities in Ilorin South, Deputy Chief Whip and Member Representing Ilorin South Constituency Hon. Maryam Yusuf Aladi this morning conducted a heartfelt visit to the Fulani settlement in Gaa Wakili, Isokun community within Akanbi Ward II. This initiative aims to uplift the living standards of the residents and ensure that no one is left behind has she promised during her campaign to the settlement.
During her visit, Hon. Maryam engaged with community members, listening to their concerns and aspirations. She emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in fostering development within rural areas.
To support the community’s immediate needs, Hon. Maryam distributed essential items, including fertilizers to aid local farmers, food items to alleviate hunger, and fabrics to promote cultural heritage. The funds provided will also assist families in improving their livelihoods and investing in their children’s education.
