According to Channels Television, former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has hailed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, as a detribalized Nigerian who has worked tirelessly to foster unity across the country. Speaking in an interview, Ortom praised Wike’s commitment to building bridges between different regions and ethnic groups, calling him a true statesman.
Ortom noted that Wike’s efforts have transcended party politics, stressing that the former Rivers State governor has consistently worked towards national unity and development. “Wike is a detribalized Nigerian who has built bridges across the country,” Ortom said. “He doesn’t care where you come from; he is concerned about the progress and well-being of the nation.”
Ortom highlighted Wike’s contributions during his tenure as Rivers State governor, pointing to his ability to foster partnerships with leaders across the political spectrum, regardless of tribe or religion. “Wike’s leadership style and his ability to bring people together is something all Nigerians can learn from,” Ortom added.
