Osun State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev Bunmi Jenyo on Monday paid a visit to the scene of fire disaster which razed Demoford Poly Nigeria Limited in Osogbo.
Rev Jenyo, while sympathizing with Mr Akinromoade Ademola, the Chief Executive of Demoford Poly Nigeria limited for his losses in the inferno, expressed the commitment of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke’s led administration towards providing a safe environment for businesses to thrive.
The Commissioner also use the opportunity to advice business owners in the State to insure their properties. According to him, it is high time business owners got insurance over their establishments to forestall unnecessary loss, due to some unforeseen circumstances.Â
Rev. Jenyo however expressed appreciation to GOD that no life was lost during the inferno, urges industries and shops owners in the state to always put electrical appliances off when not in use to avoid fire outbreaks.
On the entourage were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Market Affairs, Mrs Eniola Omotoso, Permanent Secretary, Mrs Kehinde Odediran, Director Industry, Mr Tajudeen Adigun, Director Commerce, Mrs Bola Obiremi and Deputy Director, Mrs Ibiyemi Dawodu.
