Tragedy strikes twice: Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali loses mother

Barely two months after announcing the passing of his father, Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has suffēred another devãstating lõss with the dēath of his mother.

Nwabali shared the hēartbreaking news on social media on January 1, 2025, writing: “A very very crazy world indeed. RIP mom, wórst year of my life already.”

The Nigerian goalkeeper had previously announced his father’s passing in November 2024.
