Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has announced the upcoming visit of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state. The visit, scheduled for tomorrow, marks a significant milestone as the President will commission several transformative projects completed under the Mbah administration.
Governor Mbah highlighted key achievements across various sectors that reflect his administration’s commitment to improving the lives of Enugu residents. Among the projects to be commissioned are:
Education: 30 completed and fully equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools, part of the ambitious plan to construct 260 such schools across the state.
Healthcare: 60 completed Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, also part of a larger plan to establish 260 centres to enhance healthcare access.
Infrastructure: The completed Enugu International Conference Centre with multi-auditorium facilities, 90 urban roads, and a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre equipped with 150 patrol vehicles featuring AI-enabled surveillance cameras.
Governor Mbah emphasized that these projects are aimed at repositioning Enugu as a hub of progress, safety, and opportunity, demonstrating the stateās commitment to quality education, accessible healthcare, and robust infrastructure.
“The Presidentās visit will be a milestone for us; a testament to our shared vision that is taking shape. We are excited to welcome Mr. President to Enugu State,” Governor Mbah stated.
The state anticipates that President Tinubu’s visit will not only spotlight these achievements but also strengthen federal-state collaboration in driving development.
