On January 20, 2025, President Bola Tinubu appointed Princess Zahrah Audu as the new Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC). This appointment is part of efforts to attract foreign investments and enhance Nigeriaās business environment.
The announcement was made in a memo signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and shared with journalists in Abuja. Prior to her appointment, Audu, an entrepreneur and technology expert, served as the technical adviser to the President on Foreign Direct Investment.
She succeeds Jumoke Oduwole, who was recently appointed Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment following a cabinet reshuffle.
The statement highlighted that Princess Zahrah Auduās appointment is a key move to strengthen Nigeriaās economic growth and business landscape, emphasizing her expertise and potential to bring about transformative changes.
