Police arrest man and his new wife for inflicting injuries on his 5 year old daughter

The Nigeria Police Force says, it has arrested a woman identified as Ihsanatu Shaaibu that physically abused and caused grievous injuries to her stepdaughter Fa’iza Bala, a 5 year old.

Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, in a press statement on Thursday said the arrest was sequel to viral video on social media. He said, the suspects were arrested on Thursday 9th Jan 2025, and will be prosecuted as soon as investigations are concluded.

“We will keep you abreast of the proceedings. Thank you”, he added.
